Are "Tonight's Grammys Last Hurrah for Albums & MTV?"

Digital Marketing is all about the ways technology is changing Customer behavior. Steve Jobs has made his fortune with market leading products and the iPod and Pixar's animated film "Finding Nemo" are a perfect examples. In both cases customers have voted with their patronage and support. In both cases Customers quickly changed from their prior practices and preference to new digital products.

iPod and Apple's dollar-per-song legal music distribution model coupled with satellite and Internet models is changing the music business. Just how realistic digital animation will alter the Movie business is still unclear. Certainly it has enhanced special effects. Whether or not it will "clone" actors or substitute digital human images remains to be seen.

Read the following. It is clear the change is well under way.

"Technology is going to change the Grammys, just like it's changing everything else about the recording industry. By this time next year, legal music downloading, music DVD sales and Internet and satellite Radio stations will greatly influence the Grammys. There may even have to be some new categories, like best music downloading site and best band in cyberspace."
